July 3, 2026 — Community pride and celebrations swept through the village of Black Rock following a historic sporting achievement, as the Black Rock Government Primary School secured a national championship title in the National Primary Schools Netball Competition.
To celebrate the milestone, Plymouth/Black Rock Area Representative Kern Alexis paid a special congratulatory visit to his alma mater. Commending the young athletes, coaching staff, and teachers for putting the school on the national sporting map, Alexis announced support to upgrade the school’s sports infrastructure with a brand-new multi-purpose court to further nurture local youth talent.
