World Bee Day 2024

Scarborough, Tobago – World Bee Day, a global observance that recognizes the vital role of pollinators, was marked in Tobago today. The Tobago Apicultural Society, in collaboration with the Mt St. George Police Youth Club, hosted a showcase at the Port Mall.

The event featured a booth with bee apiaries and a variety of honey products, highlighting the crucial contribution of bees to sustainable development and the threats they face. The observance aimed to raise public awareness and appreciation for these essential pollinators within the Tobago community.
