The United Nations has urged for global support for countries like Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and other Caribbean islands impacted by the devastating Hurricane Beryl. The Category 5 storm has resulted in a minimum of six casualties and caused extensive damage to residences, infrastructure, and essential services including power and communications.
