United Nations Urges International Solidarity for Caribbean Nations After Hurricane Beryl

Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The United Nations has urged for global support for countries like Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and other Caribbean islands impacted by the devastating Hurricane Beryl.
The powerful Category 5 storm resulted in a minimum of six casualties and caused extensive damage to residences, infrastructure, and essential services, including power and communications. In response to this widespread destruction, the UN has called on the international community to demonstrate solidarity and provide critical assistance to the affected Caribbean nations as they begin their recovery and rebuilding efforts.
