Scarborough, Tobago – October 15, 2024 – Civil groups in Tobago are learning the intricacies of applying for Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI), in collaboration with Environment Tobago, hosted a session at the Scarborough Library today to guide civil society groups on how to request information from the government about developmental projects. This initiative is part of a broader mission to strengthen citizens’ environmental rights, promoting greater transparency and accountability in governance.
