CANARI & Environment Tobago hosts educational sessions with civil groups to understand how to file freedom of information requests
Civil groups in Tobago are learning the intricacies of applying for Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI), in collaboration with Environment Tobago, hosted a session at the Scarborough Library to guide civil society groups on how to request information from the government about developmental projects. This initiative is part of a broader mission to strengthen citizens’ environmental rights.
