TRRI faces eviction

The Tobago Recycling Resource Initiative is facing eviction after TADCO claimed they owe over $3.4 million in arrears. The recycling depot, which has been operating out of the TADCO compound in Shaw Park, began experiencing problems in May 2023 when the EMA failed to follow through on an agreement to provide funding. Since then, they have been forced to scale back operations and are now being asked to pay the arrears to TADCO or face eviction.
