TOCA Hopes for Another Safe Carnival: President Dexter Sandy on Safety Concerns for Tobago Carnival 2024

T.O.C.A. is hoping that Tobago can host another safe carnival in spite of rising concerns about crime.

Scarborough, Tobago – August 9, 2024 – As reports of criminal activities increase, there are growing concerns about how they might affect the upcoming Tobago Carnival in October. However, the Tobago October Carnival Association (TOCA) is hoping that strategies can be implemented to ensure revelers have a safe and carefree experience.

TOCA President Dexter Sandy shared these sentiments on the Tobago Updates Morning Show. His comments highlight the association’s commitment to working with stakeholders to ensure a secure environment for all participants and visitors, reinforcing the enduring spirit of Carnival in Tobago amidst public safety concerns.
