Famously known for its signature dish, curry crab and dumpling, Tobago officially debuted its first crab farm on the island. The farm is located at the Buccoo Heritage Park. To commemorate this occasion, a ceremony was held with speeches from the Head of Operations at the Digicel T&T Foundation, Cindyann Currency, Secretary for the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development and Minister of Sport and Community Development and MP for Tobago West Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis.
I have some concerns regarding the feasibility and sustainability of this project. Additionally, there might be some public health concerns. I am willing to advise on these issues. I am an Aquatic Biologist and would like to contact the managers directly.
