Takayanna Nedd- Augustine Is The New Dancing With The Stars Champion
Dance Ensemble Tobago hosted its annual Dancesport Championships on Saturday, featuring the exciting “Dancing with the Stars” competition. The spotlight was on local personalities Takaynna Nedd Augustine, Julien Skeete, Cassandra Forbes, Javon Carrington, and Lynette Louis, who took to the dance floor with professional partners. The event also showcased talented juvenile dancers and a heartwarming “Service Men Can Dance” segment. Held at the Shaw Park Complex, the event drew a large and enthusiastic crowd, celebrating Tobago’s vibrant dance culture and community spirit in a night of entertainment, elegance, and pride. Takaynna Nedd Augustine was the standout of the night, winning the People’s Choice Award and being crowned Dance Champion 2025.
