Search continues for owners of Gulfstream

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is not prepared to subscribe to a conspiracy theory that there might be contraband on board the Gulfstream barge. The vessel was towed to Sea Lots in Trinidad, where it is to be salvaged. However, on Friday, August 23rd, a few individuals tried to illegally board the vessel and engaged in a shootout with the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard. This sparked theories that there might be contraband on the vessel; however, Dr. Rowley refuted these claims.
