Former Chief Secretary Orville London is set to receive honorary doctorate from U.T.T.
Former Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Orville London is set to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) during its 2024 Graduation Ceremony. London will be honored for his contributions to politics and education. Other honourees include Sieunarine Persad Coosal, Leon Edwards, Marilyn Gordon, and Bertrand Kelman, recognized for their work in philanthropy, steelpan music, education, and sports. Themed “Global Visionaries Embracing a World of Possibilities,” the event will celebrate more than 1,200 graduates. UTT President Christine Kangaloo will preside over the ceremony. The graduation ceremony is scheduled for October 28th to 29th at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA).
