PNM Leader Accuses Secretary Trevor James of Hypocrisy Following Police Incident
PNM Tobago council leader Ancil Dennis says that no one is above the law.
Scarborough, Tobago – Recently, Trevor James, Secretary of Infrastructure, Quarries, and Urban Development, reported that police and licensing officers visited his property, inspected his vehicle, and confiscated his cell phone. James alleged that these actions constituted an abuse of power.
In response, Ancil Dennis, Political Leader of the PNM Tobago Council, accused Secretary James of being hypocritical. Dennis’s comments highlight a political and public debate on the proper conduct of officials and the enforcement of the law, regardless of a person’s political position.
