Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has accused the Opposition of being overly eager for the election bell to be rung while responding to a question about inviting election observers.
With Trinidad and Tobago expected to hold its general elections in 2025, the Opposition has criticized the government’s reluctance to invite regional and international observers during the 2020 elections.
