Minority Leader Calls For Tadco Board Members To Be Fired
Scarborough, Tobago – February 9th, 2024 – The Minority Leader, Kelvon Morris, has publicly demanded the immediate dismissal of the entire board of the Tobago Agribusiness Development Company (TADCO). This strong call comes as a direct result of a controversial video that widely circulated on social media, depicting the alleged dumping of frozen chickens.
The video, originally posted by the political leader of the PNM Tobago Council, Ancil Dennis, claimed that the chickens originated from TADCO. This serious allegation has fueled public concern and prompted the Minority Leader’s swift action, highlighting issues of accountability within the state-owned company.
Morris’s demand underscores the severity of the incident and its potential implications for meat disposal practices and public trust in Tobago’s agribusiness sector.
