September 18, 2025- The venue for Tobago’s renowned Blue Food Festival remains unfinished, sparking criticism after missing its two-year deadline.
THA Minority Leader Kelvon Morris stated that the project, which began in 2023, was intended to be ready for that year’s festival. He publicly criticised the delay, accusing the Tobago House of Assembly of misleading the public.
Despite the setbacks, the Office of the Chief Secretary recently shared photos of Chief Secretary Farley Augustine visiting the site to “oversee the ongoing work.” According to the post, the visit aimed to advance preparations for the 2025 edition of the Blue Food Festival and enhance the experience for festival-goers.
