Is the police really in control of crime?

Despite assurances from ACP Collis Hazel that the police are on top of crime in Tobago, Chairman of the Tobago Business Chamber, Martin George, remains doubtful. After Tobago recorded its 22nd murder of the year overnight, George expressed frustration over the continuously rising crime statistics.
