Tobago business chamber Martin George questions whether the police are really in control of crime on the island.

Scarborough, Tobago – Despite assurances from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Collis Hazel that the police are on top of crime in Tobago, Chairman of the Tobago Business Chamber, Martin George, remains doubtful.

After Tobago recorded its 22nd murder of the year overnight, George expressed profound frustration over the continuously rising crime statistics. His comments highlight a growing public concern regarding the effectiveness of crime-fighting strategies and the overall safety and security of the island.
