The Chief Secretary comments on Warner groups matter of illegal quarrying.
Allan Warner, owner of the Warner Group of Companies, was charged with processing minerals without a licence. Chief Secretary Farley Augustine was asked to comment on the matter during Sunday night’s TPP election results. Augustine said that when conflict arose between him and the Warner group, he felt pressure to provide favours. He said it was interesting to see that a similar allegation was surfacing from an unrelated matter.
