Principal Arianne Forde expressed her delight in Signal Hill Secondary School’s performance in 39 categories on the Caribbean Merit List, noting that the pupils outperformed not just in Tobago but the entire region.

That I am a part of such a wonderful establishment, especially coming out of some negative media coverage that we have had I feel so excited and happy thankful there are a list of adjectives but the main one would be a tremendous sense of pride.”

Signal Hill Secondary School has already achieved significant milestones in academics, sports, and culture. However, Principal Forde recognizes the achievement of the thirty-nine students on the Caribbean Merit List as particularly noteworthy. Forde emphasized that students are already experiencing the tangible impact of this significant accomplishment, indicating a positive transformation within the school’s academic atmosphere.

Among the students on the merit list are Jianna Job, who secured the second position in CAPE’s Building and Mechanical Engineering Drawing.
