August 5, 2024 – Jenelle Thongs, 32, who proudly represented the village of Morvant, has been announced as Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2024. She is now set to represent the nation at the 73rd Miss Universe competition in Mexico.
Thongs holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is a Dental Practice Manager with her own clinic operating in two locations. As a committed volunteer, Thongs has actively contributed to the TTSPCA, participated in beach clean-ups, and engaged in reforestation efforts. She also founded the charitable initiative Let Each One Reach One TT, which evolved into the Bridge The Gap program, aiming to empower young women and their children towards financial and personal independence. Her crowning marks a significant moment for Trinidad and Tobago on the international pageant stage.
