Scarborough, Tobago – Today is International Chocolate Day, and the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI), in collaboration with the Trinitario Chocolate Shop, celebrated the occasion at the THTI Blenheim Campus.

She spoke about Tobago’s fine-flavoured cocoa, which is celebrated on the international market, while assuring that the division was committed to revitalizing the island’s cocoa sector. Attendees of the event sampled chocolate made by the students of THTI. Additionally, chocolate exhibitors showcased their local products. To commemorate the event, there was a display of the traditional “Dancing the cocoa”, a significant aspect of Tobago’s cocoa heritage.
