Division of Health, Wellness and Social protection encourages Tobagonians to “cultivate a culture of peace”
Scarborough, Tobago – Although the International Day of Peace is officially observed on September 21st, the Division of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection chose today to encourage their staff and all Tobagonians to cultivate a culture of peace in their daily lives.
The United Nations established the International Day of Peace in 1981 to inspire all of humanity to commit to peace. The Division of Health’s local observance served as a platform to highlight the importance of promoting harmony, understanding, and non-violence within the community.
