Scarborough, Tobago – August 6, 2024 – In light of the criminal activities and gun violence occurring, particularly in Scarborough, Police officers have intensified patrols in the capital. As part of these efforts, they are also removing vendors who they believe are conducting illicit activities.
This morning, it was reported that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) removed some vendors along the First Citizens Car park. Chief Secretary Farley Augustine touched on the topic of the vendors in Scarborough, indicating the broader governmental awareness and response to challenges related to street vending and crime in the area. This highlights the ongoing efforts to enhance public safety in Scarborough, Tobago.
