The Hochoy Charles Administrative Complex

The Tobago House of Assembly Administrative Complex has been renamed the Hochoy Charles Administrative Complex. This significant tribute honours the island’s first Chief Secretary, a man who dedicated his life to improving Tobago. Mr Hochoy Charles, also known as the “Heavy Roller” became Tobago’s first Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly in the year 1996 under the National Alliance for Reconstruction (NAR). He was known as a true patriot of Tobago and a strong advocate for Tobago’s autonomy.
