2 suspects held for robbery of Minister of Health Terrance Deyalsingh in St. Joseph.
Two suspects believed to be involved in the robbery of Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh have been apprehended. According to police reports, Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) officers went to St. Paul Street in St. Joseph, where they spotted a blue Hyundai Elantra, which they believe was involved in the robbery. Police intercepted the vehicle and detained two male suspects. The men were handed over to the St. Joseph police, who are continuing the investigation. Minister Deyalsingh was robbed at gunpoint by two assailants on Tuesday evening while speaking with a constituent in St. Joseph. He recounted the incident during a phone call, which was recorded on video and is now circulating on social media. It is unclear who he was speaking to at the time.
