With the addition of Youth Development and Sport, Pastor Terrance Baynes, Secretary for Community Development, Youth Development, and Sports, said that this event unites the divisions. According to Javon De Santos Carrington, he is proud of the department for hosting an event like this.
Councillor Tasha Burris said although staff appreciation often occurs in December, this was her first time this event. “I appreciate the fact he’s having this kind of event to allow his staff to relax to unwind to celebrate their place in sports cause tourism beat them so I’m happy to be invited to the party as I said it’s Christmas time it’s a time to give back and across the division, we are looking at different ways to show our appreciation to our staff for their hard work throughout the year.”
