On Monday morning, the MP for D’Abadie/O’Meara and Minister in the Ministry of Education, Lisa Morris Julian, and two children died in a house fire in Arima. Since then, many people, including government officials, have extended their condolences to the family. During a memorial service on Tuesday in honour of Morris-Julian, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley recalled that the last time he saw her was at their Christmas dinner. He described her as a vibrant and joyful person, noting how she effortlessly engaged with many guests at the event.
