I.D.B tours Kilgywn Bay, which is a site designated to benefit from a US $500,000 study into mangroves restoration under the Blue Carbon Initiative.
A team from the Inter-American Development Bank Toured the Kilgywn Bay area recently to assess the mangroves, which are expected to benefit from restoration. The IDB recently signed an agreement with the Ministry of Planning and Development, the THA, and the Institute of Marine Affairs, which will see several areas around the country benefiting from the Blue Carbon credit system valued at US$500,000.
