GATE expands funding for medical students attending UWI in Jamaica and Barbados.
The Ministry of Education issued a release today noting that the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses (GATE) will cover full tuition costs for students doing Medical Studies (MBBS) when studying at UWI Mona, Jamaica and Cavehill, Barbados. This will take effect from August 2024 to provide students the opportunity to reach their potential and contribute to the national workforce development.
