Plymouth, Tobago – Last night, at approximately 9:45 PM, officers of the Shirvan Road Police District, while on mobile patrol, received a report of loud explosions near a mini-mart in Plymouth. When officers arrived on the scene, an adult male, identified as Darren Anthony Maynard, also known as Sebastian, was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
This tragic incident marks Tobago’s ninth murder for the year, prompting a renewed focus on crime and safety within the community. The investigation into the shooting is now underway, with law enforcement working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
