Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – After many years of informal recognition, the steelpan was officially made Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument last Wednesday, July 3rd. A landmark bill confirming this designation was passed in the House of Representatives.
Mrs. Beverly Ramsey-Moore, President of Pan Trinbago, was present when the bill received parliamentary approval. She later shared her thoughts on this significant milestone during an appearance on the Tobago Updates Morning Show.
