Scarborough, Tobago – August 14, 2024 – What Tobago’s healthcare system is missing is accountability. This is the view of the political leader of the Innovative Democratic Alliance (IDA), Dr. Denise Tsoiafatt-Angus. She said while there are many good doctors and nurses working in the system, there are also numerous inefficiencies that result in the suffering of many people.
Dr. Tsoiafatt-Angus’s comments highlight a significant concern regarding the management of Tobago’s healthcare services and call for greater accountability to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes on the island.
