The 20th National Youth Parliamentary Debate occurred today with many students young people from both Trinidad and Tobago taking on the role of politicians and debating in Parliament.
The topic for today’s Youth debate was “Rethinking the Secondary Entrance Examination (SEA) Assessment. There were many youth debaters from Tobago such as Luke James-Trim who held the positions of Member for San Fernando West, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Jhada Charles was the member for Tobago West and Minister of Sport and Community Development, Dinesha Manning was the member for Tobago East and Minister in the office of the Prime Minister and Gender and Child Affairs, and Kayleigh Lewis was the member for Caroni East.
