Chief Secretary Tours New Tobago Airport Terminal As Project Nears Completion

On September 22, 2025, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine toured the new Eastern Terminal at ANR Robinson International Airport alongside Airports Authority Chairman Aaron Henry, board members, and senior managers. The visit marked Augustine’s first look at the facility and underscored the Tobago House of Assembly’s role as a key stakeholder in the project.

The tour also gave newly appointed Authority board members an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the terminal as it approaches completion. While some critical airside works remain ongoing, the project is in its final phase, transitioning from NIDCO’s oversight to the operational control of the Airports Authority.

Officials emphasised that collaboration between the THA, the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Authority will be essential to successfully bringing the new terminal into service.
