Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The Ministry of Health is initiating a voluntary recall of 114 batches of potassium chloride extended-release capsules.
This critical recall was issued by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc. due to concerns over failed dissolution of the capsules. These medications are prescribed for the treatment of patients with low potassium levels. The recall ensures patient safety and the efficacy of pharmaceutical products available in Trinidad and Tobago.
