Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – During a recent appearance before the Joint Select Committee (JSC), Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood-Christopher addressed the effectiveness of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s (TTPS) anti-crime strategies.
In a candid admission, the Commissioner stated that the crime reduction targets set for the year 2023 were unfortunately not met by the TTPS. This revelation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement in combating crime across Trinidad and Tobago.
