TSTT Invests $2M in New Internship Programme for Young People, Offering Over 600 Positions

The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) has unveiled its “Future Leaders Internship Programme,” a new initiative designed to provide work experience for over 600 young people across the country. The programme was officially launched on July 31st, 2025.

The three-week internship, running from August 11th to 30th, is specifically targeted at citizens aged 17-21 who are either unemployed or enrolled in full-time tertiary education. Participants will engage in a blended learning format, combining virtual sessions with in-person training. Each intern will receive a financial stipend for their participation. Keino Cox, Acting CEO of TSTT, described the programme as part of a broader, long-term strategy to build a more inclusive workforce and a stronger society. Applications for the Future Leaders Internship Programme opened on August 4th via the company’s website.
