An arrest is imminent for a man who called on all obeah practitioners in Tobago to unite against licensing officers involved in an ongoing joint anti-crime exercise with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The audio clip has been circulating on WhatsApp amidst heightened roadblocks that began last week.
Police say if the person is found, he will be arrested. But there are other videos circulating, in this next audio clip is a woman who seemed to have been marking the officers and were prepared for their roadblocks in Roxborough. While those first two were just audio clips, there’s a video circulating which shows another attempt to intimidate licensing officers using Obeah. In this video, there’s an animal carcass, flowers and lighted candles. Transport Commissioner Clive Clarke said the exercises, in conjunction with the TTPS will continue.
