Police officers receive recognition for diligent service in Tobago
Scarborough, Tobago – In a commendation ceremony held at the Shaw Park Complex, several officers from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) Tobago Division were awarded for their outstanding performance. The recognition was for their success in recovering 17 illegal firearms and 186 rounds of ammunition on the island.
The Tobago Division has also achieved the 5th position in the national rankings with a detection rate of 32% in comparison to other divisions. This commendable performance comes as the Tobago Division continues its fight against an increase in gun violence and other criminal activities.
