Alison Hinds is a prominent figure in the regional music scene, and her passion for Calypso and Reggae has left an enduring impact on the world of innovative, urban-influenced Caribbean music. Hinds, a trailblazer for women in the music industry, was appointed as the Caribbean International Federation of Business and Professional Women Goodwill Ambassador in 2014. In 2018, she was bestowed with the prestigious title of ‘Barbados Cultural Ambassador’ by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, becoming one of only two women to hold this honor.
These honorees will join the graduating students from Cave Hill, St. Augustine, and Mona, marking the culmination of their studies.
