Scarborough, Tobago – August 6, 2024 – The Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association (TTBWA) has officially received a parcel of land from the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) to construct a dedicated building for visually impaired persons in Tobago. The handing over was done during a short ceremony earlier today (August 5, 2024).
This significant initiative marks a crucial step towards providing enhanced support and services for the visually impaired community in Tobago. The new building will serve as a vital hub for welfare, rehabilitation, and advocacy, further empowering individuals with limited vision on the island.
