he Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) and the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) have launched an emergency multi-agency response following the collapse of the historic communications tower at Flagstaff Hill in Charlotteville.
The structural failure—triggered by severe weather, heavy rainfall, and high winds acting on an already deteriorated frame—severed critical telecommunications, utility telemetry, marine radio bands, and emergency two-way radio channels across northeast Tobago.
