“Steelpan is More Beautiful” returns after 11-year hiatus.
Seven Tobago steel bands are among the 51 registered to participate in Pan Trinbago’s “Steelpan is More Beautiful 2024” National Steelband Music Festival, which is returning after an 11-year hiatus. In a statement by PanTrinbago today, the event will be held under the esteemed patronage of Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley under the theme- “Canopeum Amoris – A Canopy of Love.” Pantrinbago says the participation of 51 steel bands underscores the festival’s significance as a platform for musical excellence and cultural expression.
