“Steelpan is More Beautiful” returns after 11-year hiatus.
Scarborough, Tobago – Seven Tobago steel bands are among the 51 registered to participate in Pan Trinbago’s “Steelpan is More Beautiful 2024” National Steelband Music Festival, an event returning after an 11-year hiatus.
In a statement by PanTrinbago today, the organization announced the festival would be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, with the theme “Canopeum Amoris – A Canopy of Love.” The strong participation of 51 steel bands across the nation underscores the festival’s significance as a premier platform for musical excellence and cultural expression.
