Minister Of Public Utilities responds to the U.N.C’s accusation that W.A.S.A plans to retrench 2500 workers

During a UNC news conference on Sunday, UNC Senator Wade Mark and MP Barry Paradath disclosed that the party had information that approximately 2,500 WASA workers were going to be retrenched. Today, after the commissioning of the Bad Hill Well Development Programme, Minister of Public Utilities Marvin Gonzales refuted those claims. Gonzales said WASA will undergo a restructuring process.
