Partial closure of Auchenskeoch-Buccoo bay road left lane.
The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries, and Urban Development reminded the public that the left lane of Auchenskeoch-Buccoo Bay Road Carnbee will be partially closed to westbound traffic on weekdays only. The closure of the road will apply after Republic Bank’s entrance towards Scipio Trace. There will be one-way traffic for motorists proceeding south towards the Auchenskeoch Roundabout. The division explained that this action follows the safety protocols for the road widening project being done on a 600-meter segment of the roadway near the Carnbee Gas Station. They also advised the public that the Traffic Branch of the TTPS Tobago Division will handle the flow of traffic in the area. They encouraged citizens to utilise alternate routes such as Carnbee No. 1, All Fields Trace and Shirvan Road. The road is expected to be re-opened on Friday 6th of September 2024.
