Scarborough, Tobago – The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries, and Urban Development has announced that the left lane of Auchenskeoch-Buccoo Bay Road in Carnbee will be partially closed to westbound traffic on weekdays. This measure is part of a road widening project being done on a 600-meter segment of the roadway near the Carnbee Gas Station.
The closure, which began after Republic Bank’s entrance towards Scipio Trace, created one-way traffic for motorists proceeding south toward the Auchenskeoch Roundabout. The division advised that traffic flow would be handled by the Traffic Branch of the TTPS Tobago Division and encouraged citizens to utilize alternative routes, including Carnbee No. 1, All Fields Trace, and Shirvan Road, to avoid delays. The road was expected to be fully reopened on Friday 6th of September 2024.
