Following the constitutional appointment process under Section 40 of the Constitution of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, members of the Upper House took their official oaths of allegiance at the Red House in Port of Spain, establishing the operational parliamentary benches in the Senate of Trinidad and Tobago.
