Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – As the crime rate continues to increase across the nation, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, head of the National Security Council, met with top security officials at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s, on Monday, July 15th. The purpose of the meeting was to directly address the rising crime rate in Trinidad and Tobago.
The high-level gathering included key figures such as the Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioners, heads of the TTPS divisions, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Acting Commissioner of Prisons, and the Director of the Strategic Services Agency. This comprehensive assembly underscored the government’s focus on strategizing solutions to the nation’s pressing security challenges.
