Murder number 12 in Tobago

Tobago, once regarded as a peaceful and crime-free haven, has recorded its 12th murder for 2024. The victim, Desiree Laurence, originally from Trinidad, succumbed to her injuries following a violent attack on Thursday night. According to police reports, around 9:30 pm, three men aged 34, 38, and 45 were at a birthday celebration on Robert Street, Mt Pleasant, when three armed assailants appeared on foot and opened fire on the group in the yard.
