Scarborough, Tobago – August 29, 2024 – Tobago TTUTA Officer Bradon Roberts says there was some improvement in Tobago’s SEA, CSEC, and CAPE performances, but he believes it is not enough to truly impact the educational outcomes of students. He is concerned that continued poor performances will exacerbate the island’s crime and other societal problems if the system is not fundamentally changed.
Roberts’s comments highlight a critical link between academic achievement and social stability, underscoring the need for a comprehensive overhaul of the educational system in Tobago to produce productive citizens and mitigate the rise in crime and other issues.
